Day 10

Moving is hard, vulnerable work. I hate the day-after back-ache, but love the end-of-day satisfaction. We can't wait to party in Stephanie's new home and had a blast helping her get settled.

Day 9

One of my favorite birthday presents: Dolce & Gabana - The One. I love the look of the bottle almost as much as the divine smell.

Day 8

I made it to class on time! I have spent many years rushing to class, why should my 24th be any different?

Day 7

Darlene and I went out for dinner - tomato soup, laughter and no dishes are always welcome in the middle of the week. If I was a bird I think I might make my home at Parera too.

Day 5

I am not lying about the date on this picture. It was so nice on Sunday that after my birthday lunch with the Galloway family we played yard games - in shorts! It was delightful.

Day 4

Sam has never seen anyone make cotton candy before. At the Lord's Acre Sale on Saturday we stopped to learn and taste.

Day 3

After a long work week Sam and I spent Friday night at home with home-made pizza and a movie. On my half: pineapple, peppers and red onions. On Sam's half: bacon, sausage and peppers. Yep, just about right.

Day 2

All summer long this list of client start dates has been taped next to my key board. Notice the coffee rings. I was very happy to rip this off and put the busy summer season behind me today.

Day 1

On my birthday I came home to 24 candles all around our apartment and a birthday cake made by Sam. We put all on the coffee table and I tried to blow them out with one breath... to no avail.
